Who We Are:

City Impact is a faith-based, youth development non-profit in Lincoln, Nebraska. We mentor, teach and empower under-resourced youth and families on a path of life transformation. We live and serve where our community needs it most. We work with them to remove emotional, physical, and spiritual barriers, allowing them to flourish. We don’t just hand kids a Bible – we walk alongside them, equipping them to empower others. When a child knows their purpose, they will lead.

Job Purpose and Goals:

The Faith Director at City Impact will lead and develop faith programming for kids, youth, and families to encourage transformation in the lives of students as they become dedicated followers of Jesus. Our prayer is that those involved in our Bible Club, and other faith-based programs will be safe, and grow a bigger, better view of God.

Our focus is developing disciples of Christ for Kingdom Living. Through discipleship, we mentor and teach every individual in God’s Word, behavior, and growth mindset with kindness and love.

When you become the Faith Director, you’re not just taking a job. You are creating programming for adults, and parents and creating events that surround our cultural experiences that identify Christ.

This position is non-ministerial.

  12. Master’s Degree in Education – can build curriculum and faith-based experiences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Grow engaged participants by creating and implementing a strategy that includes a great curriculum and activities that draws kids, volunteers, and families into City Impact’s Faith Programs.
  • Expand our volunteer pool for activities for teaching, mentoring and engagement written financial reports to the City Impact Board or other Committees.
  • Lead, develop and manage teams and volunteers so that they are operating in their strengths and being most effective in their roles on the team
  • Create a presence of City Impact Kids Bible Club in the community.
  • Collaborate as a member of the Leadership Team to achieve the goals and objectives that create the momentum to make a huge difference in the lives of kids, families, and the community we serve.
  • Be a model for those who come to City Impact by being an example of personal integrity, discipleship, and evangelism.

Method of Evaluation

  • A 30-60-90 day review by your supervisor based on your quarterly goals, your performance in the five roles of the position, and your fit with the staff core values.
  • Quarterly and Annual Reviews based on your stated quarterly goals, the five roles of the position, and your fit with the staff core values as observed by your supervisor.
  • Input from staff and volunteers.
