Empowering Children With Literacy
City Impact Literacy
Would your child benefit from a boost in their reading skills? How about learning new spelling words and sound/spelling patterns? Or maybe they need help with reading comprehension, or improving their writing and grammar skills? The City Impact Literacy program can help!
City Impact Literacy (CI Literacy) is a holistic reading support program that helps all children, specifically those most vulnerable, become both skilled readers and lifelong learners. CI Literacy uses a research-based curriculum and teaching techniques to empower children with the life changing benefits of literacy.
CI Literacy serves K-5 students in the Lincoln community. Our 2023 2nd semester weekly program will run January 24 – May 9 from 4:30-6:30 PM (CST) at City Impact Center. Program participants will receive a healthy snack upon arrival, 1-on-1 or small group tutoring, and literacy experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and active learning. Your child will also receive dinner during the program (dinner will be served at approximately 6:00).
Registration closes January 20th. Apply now! If registration fills up, your child will go on our waitlist and you will be contacted if/when a spot becomes available.
