Signing up to volunteer at City Impact is easy! Start by checking the opportunities that interest you or you would like to learn more about. City Impact will then contact you with additional information.

  • City Impact invites you to join us for lunch to get a firsthand look at the work of City Impact, our facility, and a tour of the neighborhoods we serve.
    Lunch N’ Learn happens the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Time commitment is 12:00 – 1:15pm.
  • Mentor

    Check all opportunities that apply.
  • Bible Club teaches Biblical essentials and empowers children to use their God-given gifts to impact their world. Bible Club is for PreK-5th Graders.
    Meets Tuesday evenings. Time commitment is 2 hours a week for one year.
  • Teen Bible Club (TBC) teaches Biblical essentials and empowers youth to use their God-given gifts to impact their world.
    TBC is for 6th-12th Graders. Meets Sunday evenings.
    Time commitment is 2 hours a week for one year.
  • Strengths for Life (SFL) Mentoring pairs City Impact youths with adults in the community to foster interests-based friendships and to help prepare students for post-high school success.
    Strengths For Life Mentoring is for 3rd-12th Graders.
    Time commitment is 1-2 community (off-site) visits a month.
  • Tutor

  • The Impact Reading Center (IRC) is a relationally-based, volunteer-driven, intensive reading program which utilizes research-based curriculum and teaching techniques to get students at or above grade level in reading.
    The IRC is held at Elliott, Clinton, McPhee, and Hartley Elementary during the school day.
    Time commitment is 40-60 minutes a week for one semester.
  • Youth Leadership Teams are a collection students who come together around a mutual interest to build leadership skills and serve their community.
    Youth Leadership Teams are for 6th-12th Graders. Meets Sunday evenings.
    Time commitment is 1 hour a week for one year.
  • Serve

  • City Impact is looking for skilled individuals willing to donate time and talent in an area of need.
    Time commitment varies for each role.
  • Planning and work teams consistent of a small group of people planning and working together towards a common cause.
    Time commitment is typically 1 meeting a month (negotiated by team) with additional individual responsibilities through the remainder of the month.
  • City Impact occasionally has one-time service opportunities for individuals, small groups, churches, organizations.. Specific responsibilities will be communicated and coordinated with City Impact staff.
    Time commitment varies for each opportunity.
  • Donate

    Donations must be pre-approved and coordinated with City Impact staff prior to drop off.
