Volunteer Opportunities

Signing up to volunteer at City Impact is easy! Start by checking the opportunities that interest you or you would like to learn more about. City Impact will then contact you with additional information.

  • Mentor

    Check all opportunities that apply.
  • City Impact Kids teaches Biblical essentials and empowers children to use their God-given gifts to impact their world.
    CI Kids is for K-5th Graders.
    Meets Tuesday evenings. Time commitment is 2 hours a week for one year.
  • City Impact Youth teaches Biblical essentials and empowers youth to use their God-given gifts to impact their world.
    CI Youth is for 6th-12th Graders. Meets Sunday evenings.
    Time commitment is 2 hours a week for one year.
  • City Impact Mentoring pairs City Impact youth with adults in the community to foster interest-based friendships and to help prepare students for post-high school success.
    CI Mentoring is for 3rd-12th Graders.
    Time commitment is 1-2 community (off-site) visits a month.
  • Tutor

  • City Impact Reading is a relationally-based, volunteer-driven, intensive reading program that utilizes research-based curriculum and teaching techniques to get students at or above grade level in reading.
    CI Reading is currently held on-site at City Impact.
    Time commitment is 40-60 minutes a week for one semester.
  • Youth Leadership Teams are a collection students who come together around a mutual interest to build leadership skills and serve their community.
    Youth Leadership Teams are for 6th-12th Graders. Meets Sunday and Thursday evenings.
    Time commitment is 1-2 hours a week for one year.
